EMBRACE, one of the biggest bands of the 2000’s are coming back after a 7 year hiatus with a brand new album called EMBRACE, scheduled for release in the UK on April 28th, 2014. After recently announcing their return, Yorkshire 5-piece Embrace, have produced the wonderful MAGNETIC NORTH – 50 minutes of exclusive footage of the band performing the new album in full during the recording sessions with the addition of an exclusive non-album track and three bonus acoustic tracks.
The Screening at Moston Small Cinema will be accompanied by a live Q&A with band MEMBERS.
With 3 number one albums, 6 top ten singles, sold out arena shows, over 2.5 million UK album sales and their last record achieving both #1 album and #2 single, Embrace were on the crest of a wave when they suddenly vanished without a trace. But now they are back with a new single and a fantastic new album conveying a more raw and darker sound whilst still keeping their signature anthems and huge choruses.
Embrace are brothers singer Danny McNamara and guitarist Richard McNamara, bassist Steve Firth, keyboardist Mickey Dale and drummer Mike Heaton and the band recorded the new record in their own studio in Halifax over the last three years.Last month, Embrace performed 4 intimate shows in Scotland and have recently announced a 10-date UK tour in May including two headline shows at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire with the tour kicking off in Liverpool on 9th May. The first London show sold out in minutes with a second night added straight away followed by further sell-outs in Manchester, Leeds & Liverpool.
