The Moston Small Cinema is back!

To celebrate we will be hosting a season of some of the finest in British filmmaking. This event will be running for five consecutive weeks, showcasing a different film made by a British filmmaker every Thursday evening.

Heroin addict Mark Renton (Ewan McGregor) stumbles through bad ideas and sobriety attempts with his unreliable friends — Sick Boy (Jonny Lee Miller), Begbie (Robert Carlyle), Spud (Ewen Bremner) and Tommy (Kevin McKidd). He also has an underage girlfriend, Diane (Kelly Macdonald), along for the ride. After cleaning up and moving from Edinburgh to London, Mark finds he can’t escape the life he left behind when Begbie shows up at his front door on the lam, and a scheming Sick Boy follows.

The event is free but due to the nature of the film you must be over the age of 15 to attend this particular viewing. Spaces are limited so be sure to hit that attending button on the events page. Alternatively you can contact Lou, Paula or myself via The Miners Community Arts and Music page.

We hope to see you there.
